The Shipping Associate receives in product for day’s production, checks environmental condition of delivery trucks to ensure they are up to HF standards, processes BOL’s (Bill of Lading) and PO’s. The Warehouse Associate also picks product from inventory as needed, delivers items to appropriate production area and makes adjustments in computer. The Shipping Associate prepares completed product for transport by outside carriers.

You will ...

• Shrink wrap pallets either manually or utilizing automation in preparation of shipment
• Ensures the scheduled orders are accurately counted and placed in the appropriate shipping lanes
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Communicate with drivers and shipping clerk to ensure dispatch occurs as indicated by company procedures
• Assists receiving and warehouse associates as needed

Your qualities....

• Positive attitude
• Ability to visually inspect components
• Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing in English, effectively and professionally with personnel at all levels of the organization
• Time management and ability to prioritize effectively
• Understand the role of shipping associates within the organization
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic mathematics and computer skills (data entry, email)
• Legible handwriting
• Dependability

You are....

• Willing and able to work entire schedule as we cannot accommodate partial shifts or early/late arrivals
• Must be able to count and have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions)
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old

At a minimum, you have…

• 6+ months of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
• Licensed forklift truck operator, preferable Crown or Raymond stand-up lift
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
